Become A Laborer
There are three major ways you can join the mission of the Youngstown Vocations Support Society. We invite you to explore the different ways and take them to prayer, asking the Lord how you might best help support and promote religious vocations.
Become a member of a great organization that helps to support and promote Catholic Vocations! Membership is open to practicing Catholic laymen, laywomen, ordained clergy and consecrated religious. We encourage members to invite interested persons to join the YVSS, The interested person shall become a member of the YVSS upon payment to the society of dues or expressing and fulfilling the desire to be an active participating member of the society. Our group meets twice a month - a business and social meeting. We organize and host receptions after ordinations at the Cathedral of Saint Columba in Youngsotwn as well as our annual Seminarian Summer Picnic.

Don't feel that you have enough time to commit to meetings, social gatherings, and other events? No Problem! Join us as a member who promises to pray daily for Vocations to the Priesthood, Religious Life, and faith-filled Christian Marriages. No annual dues are required, however, financial support is always appreciated. Our YVSS Prayer for Vocations can be found by using the link below. You are welcome to download the printable prayer card to keep at home.

Our Fellow Laborers
Many parishes across the Diocese of Youngstown have organized their own Vocations Support Groups who meet and pray regularly for our priests, religious, and seminarians. Many of these groups also support our seminarians in other ways. We are grateful to be fellow laborers with the following groups.
